OverallJob Summary
The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute “start to finish” tasks such as planograms, merchandise and fixture assembly, and signage maintenance. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as needed.
- Communicate proactively with District FAST Supervisor on work progress, issues, and solutions.
- Complete planograms and resets accurately and timely.
- Maintain visual merchandise standards.
- Perform store measurements and layout initiatives.
- Complete cycle counts and the Tractor Way top cap process.
- Hang signage, assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
- Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
- Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value, and Appreciate. - Ensure a memorable shopping experience that differentiates from competitors.
- Provide peak coverage during special events (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding preferred.
- Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
- Interpersonal skills and ethical conflict resolution.
- Self-directed with minimal supervision.
- Indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise.
- Shifts generally from 4 to over 8 hours, involving travel between store locations.
- Adherence to safety guidelines is required.
- Ability to travel, lift up to 50 pounds, and push/pull merchandise up to 2000 pounds with equipment.
- Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to operate store equipment and communicate effectively.
- Sufficient stamina and mental alertness to move throughout the store safely.
