As Engineering Manager, you will be implementing engineering across Satellite Communications to ensure delivery to the customer in line with their requirements. This role is part of an extensive modernisation programme.

• Manage engineering scope and technical outcomes, collaborating with Project Managers to plan and execute lifecycle engineering activities in line with contractual, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Lead mixed‑disciplines engineering teams, ensuring provision of resources, guidance, and support for effective performance.
• Deliver systems engineering activities from requirements capture to delivery in accordance with Babcock’s Top‑Level Engineering Management Plan.
• Own all systems engineering deliverables for assigned work packages, providing full life‑cycle support and ensuring alignment with industry‑standard systems and product life cycles.

• Proven experience in holistic life‑cycle management with balanced competencies across the Systems Engineering discipline.
• Working knowledge of MoD procurement processes, project delivery practices and technical standards compliance.
• Ability to lead a team of mixed‑disciplines engineers to deliver complex projects.

• Degree or equivalent in Engineering; HNC/HND with equivalent relevant experience is valued.
