Project Support Officer - Governance

Daily rate:
Up to £300 per day, Inside IR35
Duration: 12 months initially
Clearance: DV

Location:

Corsham, 3 times per week

You must have DV clearance!

• Provide end-to-end programme support that strengthens governance, accelerates delivery, and drives continuous improvement at every level.
• Lead and facilitate high-impact internal and external reviews, including the annual Infrastructure Projects Authority review, taking ownership of outcomes and actively progressing recommended improvement actions, tracking delivery, and ensuring completion between review cycles.
• Support programme leadership by establishing the right forums, providing clear insights, and producing high-quality Programme Management Information (MI), ensuring senior decision-makers have a timely and accurate view of performance, risks, and priorities.
• Represent PMO services across key forums, identifying alignment challenges, opportunities, and emerging developments.
• Keep PMO leadership fully sighted on progress, risks, challenges, and successes across services.
• Provide flexible, ad-hoc support for governance boards and scheduled meetings.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and coherent MI across multiple governance boards.

• DV clearance is required.
