Data Center Engineer

• Working in a Data Centre environment, providing customer support ensuring Service Levels are maintained and the ticketing system is fully up to date
• Installation of server, network and storage hardware
• Performing cabling/patching duties of both copper and fibre
• Remote hands duties such as power cycling equipment, replacing failed hardware components, re-seating networking cards, testing cabling
• Hours:
  
  24/7 shift, 4 on 4 off (2 days 7am-7pm, then 2 nights 7pm-7am, then 4 days off)
• Hours:
  
  8.5 hour shifts Mon-Fri, between the hours of 6am and 11pm

• Prior hands-on technical/IT/engineering experience
• Experience working with copper and fibre cabling
• You must be able to pass security checks for this job, including SC and BPSS clearance
• Full UK Driving License and your own personal car is essential for this position
