Registered Manager Domiciliary Care

Registered Manager | Wiltshire | £39,950-£48,000

If you're an experienced Registered Manager who enjoys having a bit of autonomy and actually being able to make a difference, this could be the role for you.

I'm working with an established domiciliary care provider in Wiltshire that has built a really good service and has a strong team in place. They've also recently had a positive CQC inspection, including an Outstanding star, so this isn't a service that needs someone to come in and completely turn things around.

Instead, they're looking for someone who can keep the good things going, maintain that standard of care and help the service grow.

The branch already has a good team of care and support staff, along with support from head office. There's also a Local Authority contract in place, so there's a solid foundation to build on.

Your role will be a mixture of managing the day-to-day running of the service, keeping on top of CQC compliance, supporting your team and helping to grow the number of care packages being delivered.

You'll also be involved in assessing new clients, recruiting staff and making sure new care packages are set up properly. As the service grows, the office team will grow with it, so you'll have a genuine opportunity to have some input into the people you bring into the team around you.

• Experience managing a domiciliary care service
• Good knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection processes
• Experience with Local Authority-funded care and commissioning
• A Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care Leadership, or be working towards it
• The ability to lead and support a team, whilst also being happy working autonomously
• A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle

Most importantly, you'll need to be someone who genuinely cares about the quality of the service being delivered. You'll have the support of head office, but they're looking for someone who can take ownership and make the role their own.
