This is a community bank that is seeking an experienced and community-driven Commercial Loan Officer to join their team in Giddings, Texas. • Proactively source and develop new commercial loan business with a focus on CRE (Commercial Real Estate), while also being open to other lending sectors.

• Serve as a relationship manager for new and existing commercial clients.

• Actively engage in community involvement, representing the bank at local events, business functions, and networking opportunities.

• Assess loan applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.

• Collaborate with credit analysts and underwriters to ensure loan packages are complete and accurate.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions, regulations, and industry trends.

• Help shape the bank’s growth strategy through strategic lending initiatives.

• 3+ years of experience in commercial lending, preferably with exposure to CRE.

• Strong credit analysis and underwriting skills.

• Proven ability to build and manage client relationships.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Deep commitment to community involvement and visibility.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (preferred).

• Willingness to relocate to Giddings, TX (relocation assistance available).
