Job Summary
Travel Registered Nurse OR — Talented Medical Solutions. Full-time, Contract. In-Office | Corsicana, TX, United States
The OpportunityTravel OR Nurse – Day Shift
Schedule
- Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Call Requirement:
- One weekday per week (3:30 PM – 6:30 AM)
- One weekend per month (rotating)
- No block scheduling
- No floating
- No RTO blackout dates
- Setting:
Operating Room (OR) - Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Charting:
Paper charting - Scrubs:
Provided
- Licensure:
Active RN license (state-specific or compact, as required) - Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years recent OR experience
- Must be able to circulate in multiple specialties, including:
- General Surgery
- Endoscopy
- Robotics
- Orthopedics
- Some Vascular cases
- Provide high-quality patient care in the operating room.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during surgical procedures.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training.
- Support team in achieving performance targets and goals.
- Collaborate with surgical team to ensure successful operations.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Adapt to new technologies and procedures in the OR.
- Evaluate and improve patient care processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Assist in the preparation and sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.
- Educate patients and families about post-operative care.
- Valid RN license in the state of employment.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an OR nurse in a hospital setting.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- Strong understanding of surgical procedures and operating room protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions.
- Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate patient records.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and surgical procedures.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
- Willingness to educate patients and families on post-operative care.
