Support Assistant – Marin Montessori School

Start Date: Immediate

Schedule: Full‑time (37.5 hours per week), Größen:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 am–3:30 pm. The position follows a 10‑month school calendar (mid‑August to mid‑June) with paid breaks and offers optional four‑week summer camp roles.

Job Overview: The Support Assistant collaborates with lead teachers and assistants concurso across the Montessori Toddler, Primary, and Elementary programs to maintain a warm, nurturing, and prepared learning environment when regular classroom staff are unavailable. Key responsibilities include breakjwt coverage, playground supervision, naptime support, car‑line management, student pick‑up/drop‑off, material creation, and assorted administrative duties.

• Minimum of 6 Early Childhood Education (ECEరియ) units; must be willing to complete 12 units promptly.
• Joyful, flexible, and collaborative attitude.
• Genuine respect for and interest in young children.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and move comfortably between floor and standing positions.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Three professional references from recent supervisors.

• 12 or more ECE credits.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience working in a Montessori setting.
• Familiarity with Montessori philosophy and practices.

Salary: $28–$32 per hour
