We are seeking a dynamic Senior Universal Banker committed to delivering exceptional customer service, fostering business growth, and maintaining excellence in branch operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to identify financial needs and provide tailored recommendations for banking products and services.
- Build and maintain lasting client relationships, ensuring personalized and seamless banking experiences.
- Proactively cross-sell financial products, including checking and savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, and Trust & Estate accounts.
- Support business clients through specialized Treasury Services such as Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), armored, and courier services.
Operations & Compliance
- Accurately open and manage consumer and business accounts, ensuring full compliance with bank policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Process teller transactions efficiently, maintaining an excellent balancing record.
- Review branch documentation, reports, and account openings to ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory standards.
- Consistently uphold compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and other regulatory requirements.
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and train junior staff to enhance customer service skills and operational efficiency.
- Assist the Branch Manager in developing team goals and implementing promotional strategies.
- Provide guidance and expertise on complex transactions, resolving customer and staff concerns effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in retail banking, including new accounts and teller services.
- Advanced experience opening and managing both consumer and business accounts.
- Exceptional customer service and sales abilities, with strong skills in recommending financial products.
- Familiarity with banking regulations including BSA, AML, and Information Security.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and various banking software applications.
- Notary Public certification preferred.
