Job Description

The senior wealth advisor at Mariner will lead a team to develop comprehensive wealth plans, including coordinated financial strategies aligned with client goals and values. The ideal candidate is an experienced planner, a thoughtful listener, and a team-oriented professional driven to grow both personally and professionally.

Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships, fostering confidence through expertise and ongoing needs assessment.
  • Lead client meetings throughout the wealth planning process to identify complex issues and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide tailored advice and investment portfolios for high-net-worth clients.
  • Build new client relationships in partnership with strategic allies.
  • Engage in continuous education and team development.
  • Mentor and train associates within the team.
  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial planning, accounting, legal, or related fields.
    • Series 65, CFP, or CFA certification required.
    Skills and Knowledge
    • Experience with fee-based consulting, tax, mutual funds, insurance, and financial planning.
    • Proven experience working with high-net-worth clients.
    • Proficiency in financial planning software (eMoney, Money Guide Pro).
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
    • Experience in training and mentoring staff.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Attention to detail.

    Note:

    All Senior Wealth Advisors must have a clean U4 with no disclosures.
