Healthcare Nursing, Patient Care Technician
A Polysomnographic Technologist performs comprehensive Polysomnographic testing and analysis, and associated interventions under the general supervision of a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) and/or under the clinical director (MD, PhD, DO) or designee. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, monitoring patients, ensuring accurate data collection, and educating patients on sleep-related treatments.
Regulatory/Educational Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current BLS certification
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or
- Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT) or
- A Registered Sleep Technologist (RST)
- A minimum of 1 year applicable clinic setting experience.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional language preferred.
- Strong computer knowledge
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical data and professional journals
- Ability to understand and use electronic healthcare records
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- All Southwest Health System positions are subject to a Post-Offer-Pre-Offer-Work Screen. This physical exam will determine the capacity of the applicant to perform essential functions.

Salary: $24.01 - $36.01 per hour
