Position Summary

The role of the Therapist is to participate as a member of the program team to design and implement the individual care plans for program patients in accordance with policies, rules, regulations, and directives which apply. Our ideal candidate for this Therapist position will have experience with either adult or child & adolescent therapy, with expertise in evidence based mental health or substance use treatment models.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a recognized mental health profession;
    Colorado License Eligible or Licensed LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or PsyD.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in mental health field;
    Master's Degree preferred.
Salary
  • Therapist‑Unlicensed:
    Starts at $21.00 – $26.52 per hour, Non‑Exempt.
  • Therapist‑Licensed: $58,240.00 – $71,468.80 annual, Exemption based on annualized salary.

Physical Demands

Employee must occasionally lift or move up to 15 pounds. Frequently required to walk, sit, stand, or kneel, and occasionally required to climb, balance, and stoop. Must be able to sit for longer periods at a computer. Must travel between Axis Health System locations. Potential exposure to communicable disease. Noise level usually moderate. Required

Skills
  • Knowledge and ability to operate standard office equipment including scanner, computer, calculator, copy machine, fax and multi‑line telephone.
  • Working knowledge of Windows‑based applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and ability to access the internet.
  • Ability to be helpful and sensitive to the needs of all employees while respecting corporate policies, procedures, and priorities.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all internal and external customers.
  • Ability to communicate job‑related information to individuals and small groups.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; plan own work schedule, multi‑task and prioritize in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Ability to multi‑task, organize and prioritize workload in a sometimes hectic environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to concentrate in sometimes hectic and stressful settings.
  • Ability to read and understand written materials.
  • Must regard work as confidential.
  • Must have current driver’s license, qualify for commercial vehicle insurance, and maintain a driving record allowed for insurability with Axis Health System insurance agency.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Ability to take on additional duties when necessary.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
  • Annual flu immunization due on start date.
  • Annual TB screening.
  • CPI training within 90 days of hire.
  • BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
