Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and diagnosis of gastrointestinal conditions
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans for patients
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including endoscopies
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Educate patients and their families on health management and lifestyle changes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Participate in ongoing medical education and training
- Provide consultation to referring physicians as necessary
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Experience in managing gastrointestinal disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to patient care and ethical medical practice
- Current medical licensure in the state of Oregon
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Schedule:
24-hour inpatient call shifts (7a-7a), specific dates
No clinic work
Ability to perform advanced GI procedures is preferred

Must be board-certified
