The College of Health, Arts & Sciences - Oregon Tech’s largest and most comprehensive academic unit - advances the university’s impact in health, science, and human service education through an extraordinary range of programs and partnerships. With more than 1,600 students and over 100 full‑time faculty located across the Klamath Falls, Portland‑Metro, and Salem campuses, HAS prepares graduates who strengthen Oregon’s communities through both expertise and empathy.

Its faculty are known for their collaborative spirit, applied research, and devotion to student success - educators who embody Oregon Tech’s distinctive polytechnic ethos and commitment to real‑world transformation.

Across its diverse departments, HAS defines what it means to be “polytechnic with purpose.” From Dental Hygiene and Medical Imaging Technology to Medical Laboratory Science, Emergency Medical Services, Applied Psychology, Population Health Management, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and the Doctor of Physical Therapy, the College integrates scientific rigor with human connection. The College also anchors Oregon Tech’s Rural Health Initiative, an ambitious effort to address statewide healthcare shortages through education and innovation.
