- Max Hourly Rate: $21.50 (Standard); $21.00 (Non-Urban); $22.00 (Portland Metro)
- Position Summary: This recruitment will fill multiple part-time (max 24 hrs per week) Personal Trainer positions for Recreational Sports at Oregon State University. The Person al Trainer reports to the Fitness and Wellness Formats Coordinator and is responsible for conducting personal training sessions, fitness assessments, and providing education on equipment and policies. The role includes outreach, promotional video segments, tabling, and maintaining a safe environment.

- Design and implement individualized, partner, and small group exercise programs aligned with medical recommendations and fitness guidelines.
- Conduct and interpret fitness and body composition assessments.
- Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and trainings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of fitness spaces and equipment.
- Mentor peers and engage in skill-building conversations.
- Develop and lead fitness classes and training sessions for a range of abilities.

- Must be academically enrolled at a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
- Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are ineligible.
- Must meet minimal enrollment standard:
- High School:
Regularly enrolled or in a homeschooled program. - Undergraduate and post-baccalaureate: 6 credit hours per term.
- Undergraduate international: 12 credit hours per term.
- Graduate officially admitted: 5 credit hours per term.
- Graduate international officially admitted: 9 credit hours per term.
