Job Summary:

This part‑time role supports lead and assistant teachers in the Family Resource Center’s Early Care and Education centers on the OSU Corvallis campus. Aides will be on‑call to cover staff absences and provide safe, nurturing environment for children ages 0–5.

• Assist with implementing developmentally appropriate, play‑based curriculum for assigned program and age range.
• Prepare, maintain safe, attractive classroom environment, indoors and outdoors, and use environment as teaching tool.
• Support lead and assistant teachers with daily documentation and classroom operations.
• Assist with lunch and break schedules, bottle preparation and snack prep.
• Maintain positive, supportive team atmosphere with staff.

• High school, community college, or university enrollment; pursuing a program or course of study.
• Academic standing meets eligibility and admits full‑time enrollment standards.
• Experience caring for children 0–5 years old.
• Food Handler’s Certification.
• Oregon ELC Background Clearance – Criminal Background Registry (C ).
• Adult & Pediatric CPR, First Aid, AED within 90 days of employment.

• Experience in a licensed early care and education center.
• Previous or current college courses in Early Childhood Education, Early Education, Human Development and Family Sciences, Special Education, or related field.

Part‑time, up to 24 hours per week, campus‑based classroom settings. Calendar schedule aligned with teaching hours.
