We’re hiring an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who will work on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business and help design and optimize control systems for a variety of processes.
Responsibilities- Accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
- Provide on‑site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
- Help design and optimize control systems for new facilities, working closely with architects, engineers, and designers; develop P&IDs, size valves, specify instrumentation, and document and model design information in compliance with building codes and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Control Systems, or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control.
- Working knowledge of DDC, PLC, DCS, and other controls applications preferred.
- Experience working with Data Centers.
- Engineer in Training (EIT).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute innovative ideas.
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Passion for buildings and construction.
