Fisheries Project Manager – Bellevue, WA

We’re seeking a Fisheries Project Manager to lead design and project delivery for fisheries clients in our Bellevue office.
Base pay range$/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Lead a highly qualified and motivated engineering team through the design process.
- Interact directly with clients to develop and deliver engineering design tasks in planning and design of fish hatcheries and aquaculture systems.
- Mentor mid‑level engineers and grow your career as a competent seller‑doer.
- Act as Project Manager/Design Manager, performing technical tasks, coordinating resources for multiple, concurrent fisheries projects.
- Plan and design upstream/downstream fish collection and sorting facilities, fish passage and screening, acclimation facilities, and aquaculture water treatment.
- Design process water supply and treatment systems, utilities, wastewater, hydraulics, pipelines, pump stations, and coordinate design team activities.
- Lead business development activities with key clients to acquire new projects and manage a defined client portfolio.
- Advise and mentor staff, form long‑term client relationships, and pursue new work through strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) required; must obtain Washington State PE within one year if not already held.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
- Project Management/Design Management experience providing leadership and oversight of project delivery.
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
- Experience with fish hatcheries, aquaculture, drinking water systems or treatment, wastewater systems or treatment, water intakes, pump stations, or water resource projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead design and preparation of plans, specifications, estimates, studies, proposals, and/or reports.
