Wastewater Operations Supervisor – Roseburg, OR
We’re looking for a Wastewater Operations Supervisor to lead operations and maintenance at a class four wastewater treatment facility. You will work closely with project staff to maintain permit compliance, optimize processes, and train operators.
Base pay range$79,040.00 – $91,520.00 per year
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Monitor wastewater treatment operations and make process decisions.
- Diagnose process and equipment issues and work with the team to correct them.
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct plant inspections for operational efficiency and cleanliness.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate operations team members.
- Respond professionally to emergencies and perform other duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Oregon/ABC Wastewater Treatment Level 3 Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- 5+ years of experience in wastewater treatment or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid state driver’s license with no major infractions.
- Knowledge of activated sludge wastewater treatment operations and process control.
- Experience with compliance monitoring and reporting.
- Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, and CMMS programs.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and respond effectively to challenges.
