Machinist Level 3
Location:
Clackamas, ORPay: $35.00–$44.00/hour + $3.00/hour Swing Shift Differential
Schedule:
Full-Time Swing Shift — Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AMWHO WE AREHilton Tool is a manufacturer of precision-machined components specializing in close-tolerance parts, assemblies, prototyping, and production runs. We are expanding into a second facility and are looking for experienced machinists who want to grow their careers in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
WHAT YOU’LL DODevelop manufacturing plans based on drawing specifications
Read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, and GD&TSet up CNC mills, lathes, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, and supporting equipment
Configure tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets
Read, understand, and adjust G & M code Monitor production and make adjustments to maintain part quality and tolerance
Maintain tolerances of +/-.001" throughout production
Perform in-process and final inspections
Inspect parts using height gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU $35–$44/hour + $3/hour swing shift differential

NEED TO HAVE Strong CNC machining background
In-depth knowledge of machine tools, controls, speeds, and feeds
Ability to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&TStrong machine shop math skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Commitment to safety and continuous improvement THE MUSTSAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
Positive attitude and strong teamwork mindsetPREFERREDWire or Sinker EDM experience
