Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with an active OR license and Epic EMR experience for a day shift position.
Responsibilities
• Work in a hospital Medical Surgical unit caring for acutely ill adult patients and those requiring emergent or elective surgery
• Rotating day shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm with weekend rotation
• Patient population includes both general med/surg and telemetry cases with stable cardiac monitoring
• Epic EMR system is used and recent experience is required
• Responsible for managing the care of medical, surgical, and telemetry patients
• Specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing is strongly encouraged and supported
• Dress code and scrub color requirements not specified
• No excessive RTO will be approved
Requirements
• Active and unencumbered Oregon RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Current BLS (Healthcare Provider) and AHA ACLS certifications required
• Recent telemetry monitoring experience required
• Recent and relevant Epic EMR experience is required
• Orthopedic and bariatric experience preferred
