Business Development Manager

PLEASE NOTE: This position is remote, but you MUST reside within a 50-mile radius of either Portland Oregon or Seattle Washington

Overview:

Solaris Paper is a North American towel and tissue manufacturer. We are seeking a Sales Account Manager responsible for managing and expanding key central regional accounts and driving growth across the assigned territory. This role focuses mainly on account management and strengthening relationships (80%) while developing territory-specific new accounts (20%).

Key Responsibilities

• Working with key accounts and maintaining current commercial vendor relationships.
• Manage and grow strategic relationships distributors and channel partner
• Identify and cultivate key customer contacts, including buyers, category managers, supply chain, finance, and regional leadership teams.
• Lead customer meetings and business reviews, presenting category insights, program performance, pricing proposals, and new product or platform opportunities.

Key Requirements

• 5–7+ years as an account manager in the commercial paper or janitorial space
• Sales experience / business development and managing regional or multi-state accounts
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing complex programs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
