Software Engineer
NOTE:
This position will be based full-time in our Corvallis, OR office location. Position Summary
This position will be working within the Plant Operations department assisting in the development of the software models that supports the NuScale control room simulator. This position will work in close collaboration with NuScale operators and engineers to support a range of software development tasks such as updating plant models in accordance with engineering documentation. Ideal candidate is familiar with the GSE software suite (i.e., Sim Exec and JTopmeret), has experience with thermal hydraulic system codes (e.g., RELAP5 and Trace), and has experience with neutronic analysis codes (e.g., Simulate 3 and MCNP).
Additionally, knowledge of electrical systems and ability to model breakers, busses, and electrical devices highly desirable.

- Education:
A minimum of a B.S. degree in computer science, physics, engineering or other technical degree from an accredited college or university is required. ABET accredited engineering program preferred. - Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of full-time professional software development experience is required, with at least three years of demonstrable software deliverables with a focus on modeling and simulator development.
