Emergency Services Paramedic

Overview

Now hiring a per diem evening shift Paramedic for our Emergency Department at Coshocton Regional Medical Center. This is a per diem position within Prime Healthcare.

Coshocton Regional Medical Center is a 56-bed, not-for-profit hospital serving East Central Ohio, providing 24-hour emergency services and acute care services, including a network of hospital-based physician clinics. • The paramedic is directly accountable for the care given to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
• Be knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and reporting of child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies.

• Current and valid paramedic license issued by the State of Ohio.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• PALS and/or ENPC required within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a paramedic in EMS or in an acute care hospital setting; ER setting preferred.

• Non-OB facilities: NRP within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
