We are currently seeking candidates for:

Maintenance - Electrician B

Pay rate: $39.76/hr

Available shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (no guaranteed shift preference)

Job Description

Planning: Plans work from drawings or sketches, determines required materials and equipment, and uses electrical principles to perform work on a daily and emergency basis. Builds control panels from drawings, understands wire numbering nomenclature.

Physical Action: Uses hand or power tools and equipment to lift, hoist, and move parts and equipment with skill and care. Handles heavy materials and works in restricted areas. Uses voltage, amperage, and ohm meters for troubleshooting.

Materials Utilized: All electrical materials

Facilities Used: McWane Ductile Ohio and McWane Poles

Location: Plant-wide; work within all departments required

Tools and Equipment: All electrical tools and meters necessary for the job

Safety: Adheres to all safety policies and procedures. Uses PPE such as flame-resistant clothing and gloves for Arc Flash Category 1-4 per NFPA 70E.

Selected candidates will work in areas where molten iron is present, conveying and pipe finishing systems, and related equipment.

Qualifications

Requires advanced electrical knowledge and skills to program and install electrical devices used in the plant. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience as an industrial electrician or hold an Associate Degree in Electrical Technologies or equivalent.
