SEC Audit Manager

Job Summary

As an Audit Manager on our fun, close-knit audit team, this is what your work entails:

  • You’ll serve a variety of publicly traded commercial clients in various manufacturing and distribution industries while reporting to senior managers and partners leading those engagements. You’ll also serve privately-held commercial clients.
  • Taking responsibility for client relationships with a variety of clients to build positive relationships.
  • Managing multiple teams and providing performance feedback to all members of those teams when engagements end. We value your dedication and feedback.
  • Anticipating and addressing client concerns and resolving problems as they arise.
  • Promoting new ideas and business solutions that lead to extended services to existing clients. We encourage creativity and expertise to make a difference at our firm.
  • Continuing to learn the latest developments and the firm's standards and policies.
  • Staying informed about industry developments and their impact on clients’ competitive positions.
Qualifications
  • 5 to 7 years of recent public accounting external audit experience.
  • Specific experience auditing companies subject to SEC reporting, including PCAOB audits, 10-K’s, 10-Q’s, and 404 internal control testing.
  • Skills in organization, communication, technical knowledge, time management, and accounting/auditing to work effectively with clients and manage multiple engagements and teams.
  • Professional interaction with clients, prospects, staff, and colleagues.
  • Ability to multi-task, planning, executing, and wrapping up various engagements concurrently.
  • Experience supervising engagement team members and instructing them on tasks.
  • Must be a licensed CPA in California or able to obtain licensure.
  • Willingness to work additional hours and travel to client sites.
