Senior Property Accountant

About The Role

Our client, a growing real estate company, is seeking an experienced Senior Property Accountant to support its accounting operations onsite in Orange County. This role will handle full-cycle accounting responsibilities and play a key role in financial reporting, AP/AR, and month-end close.

Ideal candidates will have a solid accounting foundation, real estate experience, and a flexible, hands‑on approach suited to a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting functions, including AP, AR, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
• Handle monthly close, prepare financial statements, and assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Support CAM reconciliations and rent escalations, including coordination with tenants as needed
• Collaborate with leasing, property management, and other internal teams to ensure financial accuracy
• Provide accounting support for ad hoc projects and cross‑functional initiatives
• Transition into a supervisory role overseeing another accountant post‑maternity leave

• At least 5 years of full‑cycle accounting experience
• Real estate industry experience required; commercial or industrial property experience preferred
• Hands‑on knowledge of budgeting, rent adjustments, and CAM reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines
• Must be able to work onsite full‑time in Orange County
