Overview

A leading outpatient mental health practice in Orange County, CA is seeking a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its thriving, mission-driven team. This is a full-scope, outpatient position with no call, access to interventional psychiatry, and a strong clinical support system.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and adolescents
  • Collaborate closely with parents, school systems, and referring providers as part of a whole-child care model
  • Supervise fully licensed APPs (PAs and NPs) when applicable
  • Work alongside a multidisciplinary team and clinical leadership
  • Contribute to integrated treatment plans with access to 50+ local partnerships (pediatricians, IOPs, rehab programs, schools, etc.)
  • Work on-site at a primary clinic location (hybrid model available after onboarding)
Practice Highlights
  • 10 clinic locations across Orange County (Costa Mesa, Huntington Beach, Orange, Santa Ana, Mission Viejo, and more)
  • Access to TMS, nasal Ketamine (typically used for adults), and active clinical research department
  • Upgraded EMR for improved usability and reporting
  • No on-call responsibility
  • Dedicated administrative and care coordination support for pediatric providers
What You’ll Need
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry
  • Fellowship training and Board Certification/Eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
  • Active California Medical License (or eligibility)
  • Experience treating children, adolescents, and their families in an outpatient setting
  • A team-based mindset and collaborative clinical approach
  • Interest in interventional psychiatry or research is a plus (though most interventions are adult-focused)
