Soil Works is a boutique consulting firm specializing in Geotechnical, Geoforensic, and Groundwater projects across Southern California. We’re a small, tight‑knit team where your work has real impact—from field investigations to client‑facing solutions.

We’re looking for a Senior or Project Engineer (P.E.) with 10+ years of experience to lead projects, mentor junior staff, and help grow our practice.

$90,000.00/yr – $/yr

Annual Bonus

• Lead geotechnical and forensic projects from start to finish.
• Manage multiple projects—ranging from foundation design for new construction to post‑construction forensic investigations—while maintaining high‑quality standards.
• Participate in business development through writing and reviewing proposals while maintaining client relationships.
• Oversee construction operations, field investigations, sampling, and lab testing.
• Perform geotechnical analyses and prepare technical reports.
• Collaborate directly with clients, contractors, and agencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and field staff.

• B.S. in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering (minimum).
• California P.E. license (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
• 5+ years in geotechnical/project engineering with comprehensive field experience and excellent written communication skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
