Technical Course Development Trainer (Semiconductor)
Based in our San Jose office, you will develop and deliver training on industrial products (photolithography equipment).
Prepare lesson plans
, partner with customers and internal members to implement training and maintain equipment in the clean rooms and training facilities to ensure equipment availability for training and demonstrations.

- Conduct user training on Photolithography products both in‑house and at customer sites.
- Provide classroom and laboratory training for internal and external customer training courses covering operation, preventive maintenance, application, and installation aspects of Canon photolithography equipment.
- Develop new internal and external technical materials.
- Revise existing internal and external technical materials to ensure they are current and accurate.
- Verify accuracy of technical procedures to support field service technicians and customer needs.
- Provide detailed presentations on technical topics.
- Manage the operation, maintenance of the training facilities and training equipment, and prepare the instructional site in the San Jose facility.
- Participate in discussion groups as needed to share technical information and improve the knowledge of less experienced colleagues.
- Contact customers to discuss training needs and gather feedback on current training programs and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience and 3‑5 years of related work experience.
- Semiconductor equipment and maintenance knowledge preferred; photolithography equipment knowledge helpful.
- Prior experience as a technical trainer preferred.
- Up to 50% travel within the U.S. (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required). Must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
- Ability to work flexible shifts.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The worker is required to have close visual acuity with or without corrective lenses for extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
Working in an office environment and also in a cleanroom environment (wearing full clean‑room suit, face mask, gloves, safety glasses).
