The Systems Test Engineer will support EMI/EMC testing efforts, including creating and maintaining electrical system strategies and test plans for multiple defense programs. The role involves conducting environmental reliability testing (HALT/HASS) on PCBA and performing electrical compliance and robustness testing, specifically MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-461. The engineer will design and deploy electrical system integration test benches and support vehicle‑level to component‑level test requirements, as well as integration testing of electrical subsystems.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain electrical system strategies and test plans.
- Conduct EMI/EMC testing and environmental reliability testing (HALT/HASS) on PCBA.
- Perform electrical compliance and robustness testing, including MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-461.
- Design and deploy electrical system integration test benches.
- Support vehicle‑level to component‑level test requirements.
- Conduct integration testing of electrical subsystems.
- 4+ years of experience in EMI/EMC testing.
- Strong understanding of MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-461.
- Working knowledge of HALT/HASS testing methods.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BS EE).
This position supports Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and involves working with a team of 10 engineers and 1 technician.
