Tax Experienced Senior, Corporate/ASC 740 Focus

BDO USA seeks a Tax Experienced Senior to lead tax compliance, ASC 740 accruals, and client consulting in the Corporate Services Group.

• Prepare, review, and provide footnote disclosures for ASC 740 provisions and other tax accruals.
• Manage tax compliance projects, ensuring quality, delivery timelines, and client satisfaction.
• Conduct detailed tax return reviews, identify potential issues, and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist with consulting opportunities to reduce client tax liabilities and provide strategic advice.
• Mentor and supervise Core Tax Services Associates, providing performance feedback and guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of firm policies, standards, and the BDO Tax Quality Manual.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification required or CPA exam authorization prior to start.
• Three (3+) years of relevant tax experience in public accounting, private industry, or consulting.
• Experience with ASC 109, FIN 48, and ASC 740 tax accruals preferred.
• Strong analytical, research, and critical‐thinking skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with tax research databases and tax compliance software a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
