Accounting Analyst III

Senior Accounting Analyst

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Senior Accounting Analyst for an onsite role at our location in the Irvine area, close to the OC airport. The ideal profile would likely be someone who started in accounting then moved into analytics and is a great communicator and critical thinker.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze, and coordinate business unit operations and expenses to determine proper allocations amongst all entities/markets.
• Review, identify, and work with other departments to analyze actuals vs budget results and independently resolve issues as they arise.
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed and be able to explain data effectively.
• Be responsible for updating and creating financial report templates as needed.
• Role is more about allocations of business expenses to proper business units and corporate. Shared Services type background would be ideal.
• Extensive of analysis on business operations, performance, allocating time/expenses, business variance and FLUX over similar periods.
• Will collaborate closely with the business units.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business/Economics or Accounting. CPA is a plus
• To thrive in this role you will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis and Accounting
• Advanced Excel skills are required
• Experience with a large ERP system is required and Oracle experience is a plus
• Highly skilled in teamwork, leadership, analysis, and multitasking
