We provide training and work placements to bring you onto the team, and we encourage you to grow across pharmacy, clinical and insurance fields.

• Manage all assigned pharmacy workstations and tasks to fill patient prescriptions accurately and safely while providing caring service that exceeds customer expectations.
• Work in a fast‑paced environment; support the team’s ability to promptly, safely and accurately fill prescriptions.
• Follow all federal, state, and local laws and regulations in prescription handling and patient confidentiality.
• Coordinate with managers and maintain phased responsibilities as you complete the CVS Pharmacy Technician Training Program.

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Licensure requirements vary by state
• Attention and Focus – The ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
• Customer Service Orientation – Actively look for ways to help people, respond appropriately to customer reactions
• Communication Skills – Use verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues; actively listen and ask questions as appropriate
• Mathematical Reasoning – The ability to use math to solve a problem, e.g., calculating day’s supply of a prescription
• Problem Resolution – Identifies when something is wrong or likely to go wrong and chooses the best course of action when faced with a complex situation

• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods
• Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks between work areas
• Working primarily with fingers (typing, pinching, picking)
• Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction; bending at the waist; stooping; using lower extremities and back muscles
• Exerting force up to 30 lbs occasionally; up to 10 lbs frequently; and negligible force constantly when moving objects

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• PTCB National Certification

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred but not required.

Pay Range: $18.15 - $18.15 per hour
