Job SummaryThe Child & Family Connection is actively seeking an exceptional licensed Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) or Psychological Associate who specializes in child & adolescent therapy to join our team! The Child & Family Connection is a growing private practice committed to offering a multi-sensory approach to deliver the highest quality mental health treatment and support for children, adolescents and their families in the Orange County area.
We are well‑established and integrated into a well‑known primary care pediatric office creating the potential for high‑volume referrals and immediate career growth. This position can be part‑time OR full‑time. Locations would include Costa Mesa and Laguna Niguel.
- Use evidence‑based methods to assess and/or treat children and adolescents.
- Create individualized treatment plans for each client.
- Actively seek parent and/or patient feedback regarding programming, testing, and therapy goals.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan.
- Collaborate with supervisors, colleagues and interdisciplinary providers.
- Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Current licensure in the state of California as PSY, PhD, or Psychological Associate.
- Minimum of one year experience using evidence‑based interventions to treat children and adolescents with anxiety, mood disorders, ODD and ADHD.
- Must be willing to see a majority of clients in‑person.
- PCIT experience.
