Base Pay Range

Salary $180,000 – $300,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Assist the Partner in managing multiple cases.

• Prepare  reports and risk assessments.

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

• Participate in hearings, depositions, trials, mediations, and other court appearances.

• Develop case strategy and seek plausible solutions to legal matters.

• Attend focus groups and stay informed about current legislation.

• Build trustworthy relationships with clients and experts.

• Negotiate low‑level settlements and attend mediations.

• Mentor and manage junior legal staff, including interview, training, and performance guidance.

Qualifications

•

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in law‑related field;
Juris Doctor or equivalent from an accredited law school is required.

•

Experience:

Active license to practice law / membership in State Bar; 4–10 years of related experience; 2ndξη Chair trial experience required.

•

Skills:

Willingness to meet personally with clients; ability to handle a high caseload; experience in a specific branch of law; commitment to abiding by the law and ethical standards; excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, public speaking, and communication skills; adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Personal Attributes:
Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment; proactive problem‑solving; strong collaboration; quick learning; high emotional intelligence; discretion and sensitivity with confidential information.
