Our client is a national, multi-unit restaurant platform operating more than 220 company-owned locations across 30+ states. The business delivers strong unit-level performance with average unit volumes around $6M and approximately $1.3B in annual revenue. After a period of leadership transition, the organization is preparing to re-enter growth mode in 2026 with plans to open new locations.
The RoleOur client is seeking a Vice President of Finance to serve as a senior financial leader for the organization. This role will partner closely with executive leadership to stabilize, optimize, and scale the finance function during an important transition period.
The Vice President of Finance will step into a highly visible position with immediate responsibility across financial planning, reporting, and operational support, while helping prepare the business for its next phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial strategy
- Oversee enterprise-level P&L performance across a large, company-operated restaurant portfolio
- Partner with operations and executive leadership to drive margin improvement and cost discipline
- Manage and develop a small team of direct reports within the finance organization
- Own financial reporting, variance analysis, and performance insights for leadership
- Support capital planning and financial modeling tied to new unit development initiatives
- Ensure strong accounting practices, internal controls, and compliance across a multi-state footprint
- Help position the organization for renewed growth beginning in 2026
- Senior finance leadership experience within multi-unit restaurants, retail, or consumer businesses
- Strong understanding of company-operated models across large geographic footprints
- Proven ability to partner with operations and executive teams
- Experience supporting growth initiatives or navigating leadership transitions
- Background in franchisor or franchise-adjacent environments preferred
- Base salary range: $200,000 to $275,000
