Summary
The Sales Director leads boutique sales and business development for Cartier in Costa Mesa. This role drives sales performance, develops the sales team, and ensures exceptional client experiences while supporting boutique operations.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales and business development strategies, including for High Jewelry.
- Lead, motivate, recruit, coach, and develop managers and sales associates.
- Partner with client engagement teams to grow client acquisition, retention, and long-term relationships.
- Promote exceptional client service, model luxury experience standards, and support client events.
- Monitor operating expenses and partner with operations and service teams to support boutique operations.
- Maintain knowledge of Cartier products, brand heritage, local markets, and compliance procedures.
- At least 10 years of management experience, particularly in luxury retail.
- MBA preferred; additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and develop a team, adapt to change, and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Availability to work retail hours, including weekends.
