Toyota North America is looking for a skilled Technician to join our Engine Build team. This role focuses on building and preparing race cylinder heads for final engine assembly used by Toyota Racing Development (TRD) race teams.

• Build and prepare production race cylinder heads for final engine assembly.
• Assemble components to Engineering specifications, following established processes, procedures and quality standards.
• Perform detailed measurements, document part / serial numbers and accurately compute for spec and compression ratio confirmation.
• Deliver high‑quality work, addressing both scheduled and unscheduled tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate Newen and Sunnen style cylinder head machining equipment to precise tolerances.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in both assembly processes and documentation.
• Update and maintain electronic build books with accurate component information.
• Support continuous improvement by refining processes and procedures in collaboration with team members.
• Troubleshoot issues and build technical understanding to resolve challenges effectively.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and tour‑ready work area at all times.

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a racing engine environment.
• Proficient in operating Newen and Sunnen type cylinder head machining equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with cylinder head and sub‑assembly builds.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to proficiently use all build‑related tools.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
