Catering & Event Sales Coordinator (Orange County)

We are looking for a Catering & Event Sales Coordinator to support the Senior Catering & Event Sales Manager and their team in sales administration and event planning. This role plays a key part in organizing and supporting the sales and event execution process, ensuring client service and internal operations are handled with timeliness, accuracy, and professionalism.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment, has exceptional communication and organizational skills, and is passionate about creating extraordinary guest experiences. Skills & Qualifications- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine heart for hospitality, both internally and externally.
- Professional, enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player.
- Excellent customer service instincts, conflict resolution abilities, and strong relationship‑building skills.
- Familiarity with client service, event planning, and administrative processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all departments and align internal operations with client expectations.
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Self‑starter with a proactive mindset and team‑oriented attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google applications, CRM platforms, and catering/event management software.
- 2–3 years of experience in catering, hospitality, sales, event coordination, administrative support, or related customer service roles.
- College degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
- Current California Food Handler’s card and valid driver’s license required.
- Local travel required.
Pay Range: $25-$27 per hour (depending on experience), full time. Benefits include group health benefits, competitive pay, paid vacation and sick time, holiday pay, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
