MRI Construction Carpenter Framing Skills

IMMEDIATE START

This is not a foreman/supervisor position. This is a hands on position.

• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and get boosters as they become available; vaccination cards must be presented at time of employment. Flu vaccines and TB tests are required annually. All mentioned are paid by MRIC. If you are not willing to get vaccinated, please do not apply.
• Must have own screw gun and standard carpenter tools.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record and dependable transportation.
• OSHA 10 preferred, but not required. CPR class may be required. Must be able to pass drug tests as required by our clients.
• Travel: short term travel from time to time within the Western US; usually no longer than 14 days, back-to-back out of town jobs can occur.
• Ability to handle materials up to 50 lbs per sheet when required.

• We perform radio frequency and magnetic shielding for MRI rooms. The candidate should have basic carpenter and framing skills (must be able to use a screw gun without stripping screws and take accurate measurements and cut plywood/steel as needed).
• Measure, cut, and fit materials; maintain punctuality, organization, and high-quality workmanship; contribute to the team's output.
• Hunt and install materials as needed for shielding projects in MRI rooms; work on sites including hospitals and imaging centers.

• Full Medical Insurance paid by owner after 60 days.
• Dental Insurance available after 3 months for $4.93 a week.
• Actual pay discussed with owner; hourly wage ranges from $17-$20 depending on experience.
