Wage Information: Hourly wage is based on the So Wash Co  School Miscellaneous Wage Sheet. Starting rate ranges from $11.13/hour - $20.00/hour

• Instruct swimming lessons according to So Wash Co  guidelines.
• Observe and instruct participants in proper stroke techniques.
• Develop positive relationships with parents and participants; provide motivational support and guidance.
• Maintain records such as attendance and progress reports.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
• Follow all rules, regulations, and safety procedures, including emergency protocols.
• Complete incident and accident reports as needed.
• Organize and store class equipment; report damaged equipment.
• Train and supervise class aides as assigned.

Applicants must be willing to work at least one day per week.

Red Cross Instructor certification is helpful but not required; training will be provided.

This is an entry-level, full-time position in the Primary and Secondary Education industry. Referrals increase your chances of interviewing.
