Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client’s medical facility, based in Cottage Grove, MN 55016
.

This is a Contract job with a possible extension opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Base pay range: $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr (Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials. The rate is based on years of direct experience as listed in the resume.)

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients prior to blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training (such as medical assistant or paramedic programs) is preferred.

• Minimum of three (3) years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws.
• At least two (2) years of experience in a Patient Service Center or clinical setting is preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or healthcare environment is an asset.
• Proficiency with data entry and keyboarding is also preferred.
