General FunctionResponsible for selecting “the best of the best” products for our online shoppers. Will also be responsible for accurately selecting groceries ordered online by our customers.

- Smiles and greets customers in a friendly manner.
- Makes an effort to learn customers’ names and address them by name whenever possible.
- Assists customers by escorting them to products, securing items, loading/unloading heavy items, making note of customer suggestions, and enhancing the shopping experience.
- Answers the telephone and emails promptly and provides friendly, helpful service to customers who call.
- Accurately selects groceries ordered online.
- Selects highest quality produce, meat, and other fresh products.
- Selects, scans, and bags items from all temperature zones.
- Adheres to company policies and individual store guidelines.
- Reports to work when scheduled and on time.
- Tenders customer orders through POS and charges the customer’s credit card.
- Places orders in storage at proper temperature and retrieves before customer arrival.
- Ensures products maintain proper temperature throughout the process.
- Places orders in holding area for pick‑up.
- Lifts, carries, and loads groceries into customer vehicle.
- Continuously monitors incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on‑time fulfillment.
- Performs other job‑related duties and special projects as required.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Visual requirements: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
- Must be physically able to perform medium work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects of no more than 50 pounds, frequent standing, walking, and lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to perform duties such as stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motions.
The duties are mostly performed in a retail store setting. This position may be exposed to dust, noise, temperature extremes, moving equipment, and electrical shock. Constant pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Equipment Used to Perform JobPallet jack, box cutter, cash registers, trash compactor, forklift, calculator, telephone, intercom, cardboard compactor, copier, fax (within wage and hour guidelines).
CompensationThe anticipated hourly starting wage for this position is $13.50 to $16.80 depending on experience.
