Direct Support Professional

In the Willamette Valley, Almost Family is seeking a reliable, compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with physical, mental, or emotional needs.

$21.00–$23.00 per hour, paid biweekly

A full‑time role based in Eugene, Cottage Grove, or Creswell. DSPs provide daily assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), help with life skill development, and foster independence for clients.

Eugene, Cottage Grove, and Creswell (Willamette Valley, Oregon)

• Assist clients with ADLs, including physical, emotional, and behavioral support
• Follow established protocols and client goals
• Provide transportation for appointments and daily activities
• Build and maintain client relationships to foster positive self‑esteem
• Support general housekeeping and home management tasks
• Document care activities and maintain required records

• 18 years of age or older
• At least 1 year of experience supporting an I/DD individual and/or family member
• Knowledge of and sensitivity to disabilities
• Commitment to confidentiality
• Compassionate, caring, patient attitude
• Clear criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and reliable vehicle
• Ability to work independently and in a team
