Computed Tomography Technologist – Cottonwood
Sign on Bonus Available: $10,000. This position is located on‑site in Cottonwood/Sedona, Arizona.

Job Summary
The Computed Tomography Technologist performs computerized tomographic scans according to established standards. Provides basic patient care, explains procedures, maintains equipment, transports patients, and prepares documentation.
Responsibilities- Obtain patient history and educate patients/families about procedures.
- Position patients appropriately and perform radiographic procedures.
- Analyze images for technical quality (density, contrast, definition, distortion).
- Maintain infection prevention and safety protocols.
- Prepare and clean equipment, ensure accurate documentation and archiving.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals.
- Operate head or body scanners to create cross‑sectional images of internal organs and tissues.
- Produce CT radiographs of specified body areas.
- Set appropriate technical parameters for accurate anatomy and pathology depiction.
- May perform obstetric, gynecological, abdominal, retroperitoneal scans, and radiation therapy localization.
- Adhere to regulatory and organizational standards for patient safety.
- Perform equipment quality control and troubleshoot as needed.
- Monitor workflow and inventory to avoid service interruptions.
- Document incidental findings and communicate to interpreting physicians.
- Ensure imaging results meet quality assurance standards before release.
- Associate of Applied Science or related field – required.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and mentorship programs.
- Stay current with state/federal regulations and company policies.
- Maintain required certifications and/or licenses.
- Complete company mandatory modules and job‑specific training.
- Report safety incidents via Midas/RDE tool and attend safety trainings.
- Maintain a safe work environment and comply with safety guidelines.
- Minimum 1 year experience as an imaging technologist (preferred).
- Proficiency with computers and basic software.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting imaging.
- Certification: MRTB‑E CT required.
- BLS (American Heart Association) required.
- Fingerprint clearance required on hire and within 90 days.
