Your Role as a DSP:

As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide personalized care and support for members of all ages with developmental disabilities:

  • Deliver compassionate support aligned with each member's Individual Support Plan.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing environment that promotes personal growth, dignity, and independence.
  • Assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal support, and goal management.
  • Ability to physically assist members with transfers, repositioning, and mobility needs (e.g., chair-to-bed transitions)
  • Implement teaching strategies to help members build daily living skills and engage in community activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, guardians, and healthcare professionals.
What You Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
  • A passion for supporting individuals with special needs, backed by patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.

Certifications & Credentials (Current or willing to obtain upon hire):

  • Active Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
    .
  • Current CPR & First Aid certifications.
  • Article 9 training certification.
