Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and document electrical control panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams in compliance with UL508A and other applicable codes/standards.
Select appropriate electrical components (breakers, relays, PLCs, VFDs, power supplies, etc.) based on application requirements and customer specifications.
Prepare bills of materials (BOMs), wiring schedules, and panel layout drawings.
Provide engineering support during panel assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with mechanical engineers, fabricators, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into skids, machinery, and customer applications.
Support internal and external inspections, including UL audits and customer factory acceptance tests (FAT).
Ensure designs meet safety, quality, and cost‑efficiency targets.
Provide technical guidance to production teams and assist in training when necessary.
- 3+ years of experience in electrical design
- Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
