HGM Associates Inc. has immediate opportunities on our Land Surveying team in the Council Bluffs, IA office. We are currently seeking candidates with a minimum of 1-year field experience in land survey all the way to crew chief. Our ideal candidate is someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who can work both independently and in a team environment.
Responsibilities- Perform tasks as directed by the Survey Team Manager.
- Perform fieldwork related to construction staking, boundary surveying, and topographic surveys.
- Minimum one-year prior survey field experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Technical school or Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Surveying, or related field preferred - Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work overtime when required due to the project schedule
- Able to occasionally travel out of town and stay overnight
- Willingness to work outside in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong math and computer skills (excel and Civil 3D) preferred
