The Campus Life Student Worker is responsible for assisting fellow students with accessing gaming equipment, answering questions, and supporting a variety of tasks to maintain the game room. They also provide support for Student Life events as needed.

• Distribute gaming equipment to students based on requests in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Ensure the game room remains clean, organized, and welcoming for all users.
• Night shift workers are responsible for cleaning and securing the game room at closing.
• Respond promptly and professionally to student questions and provide support as needed.
• Assist with various assigned tasks to support the daily operations of the game room.
• Contribute to Student Life events and activities by providing event support as needed.

• Must be a currently enrolled student at Iowa Western Community College.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
• Dependable, punctual, and self‑motivated.
• Willingness to support, work and participate in Student Life events.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of gaming equipment and a willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all students.

Able to sit or stand for an extended period of time.
